Journey even further in to mysterious Gaelic heartlands as we explore the dramatic landscapes of the Inner and Outer Hebrides!

The 4 Day Western Wonders sees us leave Edinburgh and cross the frontier from the lowlands in to the jaw-dropping beauty of the highlands. We take in some of Scotland’s most beautiful castles  and stop off for a bit of Nessie spotting as we make our way to the ‘Misty Isle’ of Skye where we spend our 1st night.

Day two and it’s time to find your sea legs! After a morning exploring the legendary Isle of Skye, we jump aboard the ferry and make our way to the Isles of Lewis and Harris.  Be prepared to be taken back in time as you see the Callanish standing stones, black house villages & brochs, along with the golden sandy beaches of Harris.  We spend our 2nd night in Stornoway where you can soak up the atmosphere in the town’s traditional pubs.

Armed with a deep sense Hebridean life, we head back to Skye and get a little closer to nature and hike up one of the island’s amazing rock formations. After a visit to our mischevious faerie friends, we head back to our hostel in the village of Kyleakin for the 3rd night.

Our final day takes us through tragic Glen Coe, the Trossachs National park, right into William Wallace (braveheart) country and back to Edinburgh for a well deserved rest after a truly memorable 4 Day Western Isle Wonder adventure!
